BM0488 is a coffee table designed by Børge Mogensen and re-proposed by Carl Hansen & Søn. BM0488 was originally designed in 1958, made of solid oak with a double woven wicker seat; its versatile design allows it to be used both as an entrance bench or at the foot of the bed, and as a central table in living areas. Made as a complement to the Daybed BM0865, this bench / coffee table is part of the concept of Mogensen's "construction furniture", that is resistant furniture capable of re-adapting itself whenever the needs of users change with the passage of time.
